| So, do I have a higher IQ or not? | |
| Some "studies" really make me more confused than before... Here is one that says here that first born's have a higher IQ than others. The other here says that taller people have higher IQ. Now what if the second born children who are taller than their older siblings, as in my case? Do they have a higher IQ or not?

| Sledging | |
| With me in the US, I have few chances to watch a cricket match live.. most of those that I see are from posts on youtube... things that I miss now are characters like, say, a Merv Hughes or a Javed Miandad. Who can forget JM mimicking Kiran More during the 92 WC or Hughes' sledging. Here are some that I foundhttp://garysellers.blogspot.com/2006/06/...

| Foot off the pedal | |
| Having enjoyed the first Semi-final of the World Cup (are we glad that we here, this is the longest and probably the most boring of them all), one thing that caught my attention was Jayawardhane's comment about pushing himself and not slipping into a comfort zones. How prone is a human being to rest on one's achievements (however small they might b...

| Out of sight... out of mind | |
| Heartbreaking article on the U-15 cricket world cup winners who lost their way or their motivation after their historic win 10 years ago. Md. Kaif is the only one who is seriously around with a chance... Take a look at the Pak team, guys. Lots of players who graduated to the next level and some of them are doing rather well... Either the Indian se...

| The Real Shopping-Cart Revolution |
| Five hundred years of progress packed into a sack of flour.By J. Bradford DeLong, Wired MagHere's some food for thought.A smart shopper can buy a 5-pound bag of Gold Medal flour for 69 cents. That's enough to feed three people for a day - 7,500 easy-to-digest, relatively nutritious, and potentially tasty calories. All for less than 0.7 percent of a...
